Special
Seminars: The Center occasionally offers one-time classes focusing on a special project. This is a good introduction for students who are not sure about committing to a complete class session. Please watch this page for announcements or call the Center with specific requests. If there is enough interest, something may be arranged.
Super Summer Saturday Classes
Build a kids cornhole game Date and time T.B.A soon 10a.m.-noon Cost: $50 per student This class includes 2 cornhole boards and 8 bags.
Build a washer toss game, a ring toss game, or a sailboat Date and time T.B.A. soon 10a.m.-noon Cost: $20 per student
These are special introduction classes, designed for kids with little or no woodworking experience. ages 6 yrs. - 14 yrs.

Chris is currently working in partnership with the Fairfield Community Arts Center to offer some new opportunities.
Special offering at Fairfield's new Community Arts Center Saturday, February 11, 2006 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. $25 for Fairfield residents or $30 for non-residents
Kids ages 6-14 will masterfully create their own chalk board. Children will be taught how to complete this wood project using nails, glue and paint.

SMART (Students Making ART) September 12 - October 24,2005 Every weekday 3:30 - 6 p.m.
Chris Schnetzer, the Center for Learning Through Wood's founder and head instructor will participate with other area artists in this special after school art club offered by the Fairfield Community Arts Center. Students in grades 1-4 can go to the Center every day after school and take a variety of classes including woodworking. Time for snack, homework and free play is included in the program. To request an information packet, call the Community Arts Center at 867-5348. $35 per week for Fairfield residents or $40 per week for non-residents.
